Hello, and welcome to 6th Grade!

I am very excited to have your child in my classroom this year. I'm looking forward to helping all of my students grow during this productive year of learning. You will be amazed as you watch your child bloom as a friend, reader, writer, thinker, and more! Schedule: 6th Grade Schedule

Units of Study 

This year will be divided into several units. Each unit has one main piece attached to it, plus additional texts. Throughout these units, students will engage with various learning opportunities, including, but not limited to: bell work, vocabulary, quizzes (scheduled), writing assignments, reading assignments, presentations, group projects, and exams. 

During these units of study, students will read non-fiction, fiction novels, and short stories.
