My name is Sami Simmons.  I am blessed to be starting my 10th year at HWES.  I hold a Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Education from Arkansas State University.  This is my 15th year to teach art, 10 of those years at HWES.   I am an active member of the National Art Educators Association as well as the Arkansas Art Educators Association. . 

My husband Terry and I have been married for 37 years and are the parents of three grown children, we are blessed with 2 beautiful granddaughters and a handsome grandson.   We have a Bloodhound named Arch, a Bassett named Gus and a cat named Milo. We love to travel and spend time with our grandkids!
