I Love Math!

My name is Sam Hobson, and I am excited to join the Mac team this year!

I moved a lot as kid, but Jonesboro has been home for 5 years. I graduated from Arkansas State University in 2026 with two degrees: Mathematics and Math Education.

Last October, my wife Mary and I were married and we live in Jonesboro with our 5 year old golden retriever Teddy.

Math is so important because it trains our brains how to solve problems, and what is life if not one long string of problems.

I look forward to learning and growing with our students this year!
