About Me

As your child's teacher, I want you to know a little more about me. 

I am from Sheridan, AR and moved to Jonesboro for college. Growing up in Sheridan, I was on the middle school and high school dance team. With dance team, I also attended a local studio where I danced competitively for 16 years. Once I came to college, I made the A-State Dance team. I was on the dance team all four years where we had the opportunity to attend bowl games, basketball conference tournaments, as well as our dance team nationals in Daytona, FL. I graduated from A-State in May 2022 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. 

Extending my dance career, I am the Douglas MacArthur Junior High Dance Team Coach. We attend all home football and basketball games for MacArthur as well as prepare ourselves for our dance competitions in the fall.  We love supporting all MacArthur teams/clubs and helping out in the community when possible. 

After teaching in elementary for several years, I have now expanded my teaching into 7th grade. 

I am the co-owner of Ktizo Fitness (a pilates studio in Downtown, Jonesboro). We offer a variety of pilates classes all throughout the day including traditional, intermediate, HIIT, heat, and reformer. Staying active is my lifestyle. 

I love to bake/cook in my free time. Trying new recipes is one of my favorite past times. My favorite thing to bake is, of course, cookies. I have made just about any flavor cookie that you can think of - all the way from the classic chocolate chip to root beer (which is actually pretty good).

I also love to travel whenever I get the chance. Recently, I was able to take a trip all down the East Coast visiting many different cities and beaches. I also took multiple trips to the lake with my family. When I travel, I love finding "hole in the wall" restaurants as well as venturing off from the typical tourists adventures.
