What it's all about...
Welcome to Algebra 2! This course is all about problem solving. Our goal is to become critical thinkers. The ability to problem solve extends far beyond Algebra, and the skills you acquire this year will not only help in future math courses, but in the real world! Persevering through problems, working together, and arriving at answers we can support with mathematics is what it's all about!

About me
My name is Morgan Trevathan. I'm a proud graduate of Jonesboro Public Schools! After graduating, I attended Arkansas State University where I received a bachelors in Math and minor in Statistics. I went to the University of Mississippi to get my masters in education, and I spent the next several years teaching high school around the state. My husband coaches football and we have 4 awesome kids. If I ever have free time outside of their events, I enjoy painting or playing tennis!
I'm so excited to be back at Jonesboro High School for my 9th year as a teacher!!
Resources
Students will join their period's google classroom. This is where all assignments and announcements will be posted. Parents are encouraged to add their personal email address to the student's google classroom to receive notifications as well.
