My name is Brandon Rout and I am the Project Lead the Way instructor at Douglas MacArthur Junior High. This is my 15th year teaching and my fifth year here. I'm excited to bring this curricolum to our MacArthur family.

I have a wife named Sarah and she is the librarian at Jonesboro Math and Science Elementary. We have been married for 22 years. We have one daughter and her name is Aurora. She is a 7th grade student at MacArthur this year.

We have several pets including two cats and two dogs. Our cats' names Trixie and Troy. The dogs are both greyhounds and are named Prometheus and Katie.  I'll post some pictures of them below. 

For fun, I enjoy reading, drawing, video games, and playing music (guitar and ukulele), and martial arts (I have a black belt in aikido)
