My name is Brandon Rout and I am the Project Lead the Way and Computer Science instructor at Douglas MacArthur Junior High. This is my 16th year teaching and my sixth year here. I'm excited to bring this curriculum to our MacArthur family.

I have a wife named Sarah and she is the librarian at Jonesboro Math and Science Elementary. We have been married for 23 years. We have one daughter and her name is Aurora. She is a 8th grade student at MacArthur this year.

We have several pets including three cats and a dog. Our cats' names are Trixie, Troy, and Charley. The dogs are both greyhounds and are named Prometheus and Katie.  I'll post some pictures of them below. 

For fun, I enjoy reading, drawing, video games, and playing music (guitar and ukulele), and martial arts (I have a black belt in aikido)
