Welcome!

I’m Miranda Lorenzana, and I’m so excited to be here! I have been with Jonesboro Schools since 2017, and I began teaching English as a Second Language in 2014.

My husband and I both love reading and traveling. We have two adult children, two fur babies, and a one-year-old grandbaby who keep us busy and entertained!

I have a Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a BA in English. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Counseling Services with an emphasis in Crisis and Trauma. My goal is to continue learning and growing so I can support and help students in as many ways as possible.

I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you and having a great year together!
