Hello There! My name is Mr. Byard and I am celebrating my 25th year in education. I am a graduate of Arkansas State University with a bachelors degree in Graphic Design. I earned my P-12 Art teacher license in 2006 and my Masters in Educational Leadership in 2012. I served as an Art teacher for my first six years in the Jonesboro school district. I then received an opportunity to begin my administration career for the Trumann school district from 2012-2018. In the Fall of 2018 I came back home to JPS where I have served as the International Studies principal from 2018-2023. At the end of the 23' school year I made the decision to head back to the classroom to work one on one with students. I'm now beginning my fourth year teaching EAST at MacArthur Junior High and I look forward to working with our amazing students.
