Hello There! My name is Mr. Byard and I am celebrating my 20th year in education. I am a graduate of Arkansas State University with a bachelors degree in Graphic Design. I earned my P-12 Art teacher license in 2006 and my Masters in Educational Leadership in 2012. I served as an Art teacher for my first six years in the Jonesboro school district. I then received an opportunity to begin my administration career for the Trumann school district from 2012-2018. In the Fall of 2018 I came back home to JPS where I have served as the International Studies principal from 2018-2023. At the end of the 23' school year I made the decision to head back to the classroom to work one on one with students. I'm beyond excited to be teaching the EAST classroom at MacArthur Junior High and look forward to working with so many amazing students.
