Meet Mrs. Hicks

My name is Danni Hicks.  I have been an educator for 26 years.  I earned my BSE in Elementary Childhood Education in 1999 from Arkansas State University.  I then went on to earn my MSE in Early Childhood Education.  I began my career in 2000 as a Kindergarten teacher.  I taught kindergarten for 12 years and then transitioned to 2nd grade where I stayed for 4 years.  In 2016, I was offered a my dream job as a library media specialist.  I accepted the job and went on to earn my Ed Specialist Degree with an emphasis in Library Media at the University of Central Arkansas.  

My husband, Barry, and I started dating in high school and were married in 1996.  We have two wonderful children, Luke and Carlie Jo and her husband Eli.  We also have one precious grandboy, Walker. 

During my down time, I enjoy going to church, spending time with my family, vacationing at the beach, reading, and watching Netflix.
