I graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1980. I attended the University of Central Arkansas, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (1985) in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS). Two years later, I earned a Master of Science in Education (1987) in Family and Consumer Sciences. This is my 41st year of teaching.
I have enjoyed 43 years of marriage to my best friend, Revis. We have two amazing daughters, both graduates of Jonesboro High School. Our oldest, Nicole, is married to Chris Gooch. She is a 4th-grade teacher in Conway. They have two sons, born seven years apart on the same day. Cameron is in the eighth grade, a competitive swimmer, runs cross country, and plays basketball for his school. He also plays baseball. Cooper is in 1st grade, has lots of energy, is a competitive swimmer, and plays soccer and baseball. Our youngest, Elisabeth, married her high school sweetheart, Matt Pagan. They live in Fayetteville, AR. Elisabeth is a neonatal intensive care RN and will receive her APRN degree in August 2025. They have one son, Owen Matthew, who will be one in November.
I enjoy spending time with my family, going to Hilton Head, beaching, or Universal Studios, and riding roller coasters in my spare time.
