Lesson Plans October 20 - October 30

Purpose Statement

I Can: complete a bellringer by completing/saving 2 task worksheets in PPU in chronological order, I can complete two Standard 2 slides (S2S7 and S2S9 (SHARE)), as well as, I can edit important sections involving two living documents saved in my Portfolio (Academy Choice Doc and SSP (Student Success Plan). Also, if I have any NHI's/missing work needed to turn, I will do so in the proper class execution discussed in class. 

Bellringer (10 Minutes)

Students Will:

1) Log-in to PPU and complete/save 2 PPU task worksheets/unit assessments in chronological order.

Activities (65 Minutes Total) 

I do.. (10 Minutes) Instructed Directly, I will explain the bellringer in detail (2 PPU task worksheets), also, I will explain the 2 Standard 2 items (S2S7 and S2S9 (SHARE)) and their importance of saving to their Portfolio, as well as, how protecting their identity one day when it matter really makes a different in protecting their bank accounts, money, etc.  

We Do.. (10 Minutes) Together, we will navigate through the bellringer, the 2 Standard 2 slides, discussing the importance of, one day, dinfing ways to protect their bank account, credit card information, etc. from scammers, etc. 

You Do..(45 Minutes) Independently, you will complete the bellringer (PPU), complete the 2 Standard 2 slide items, as well as, complete any missing work/NHI's and turn them in to me. Also, you will complete a google doc, a google form, and a google sheet for editing purposes while in class, all the while, saving items and sharing items if asked to. (Portfolio). Students will make edits to their SSP and Academy Choice docs (5-year plans). 

Differentiation: Students finished completely with PPU tasks will convert time and energy to editing both 5-year plans (SSP/Academy Choice) during bellringer time and/or any time other students not completed with PPU tasks are completing those tasks. 

Assessment

Students will be assessed via PPU task worksheets and/or unit assessments (bellringer), 2 Standard 2 items (S2S7 and S2S9 (SHARE))- Google Doc and Google Form), as well as, the Academy Choice Doc (Google Doc) editing, and the SSP (Student Success Plan) (Google Sheet) editing, etc. Also, any missing work/NHI's, the students will use Google Forms, Google Docs, Google Sheets, PPU task worksheets/unit assessments to complete and update.
