PPU Task Worksheets/Academy Choice Implementation - Organization (Add to Portfolio)

Standards

Purpose Statement

I Can: Complete a bellringer by completing/saving 2 task worksheets in PPU to my Portfolio, also I can navigate through the important Academy Choice document and add it to my Portfolio in the correct spot. I can learn how to use this Doc and edit the needed portions for High School graduation (Career Academy Selection, Sophomore Year Schedule, etc). 

Bellringer (15 Minutes due to new students in class and first time doing 2 task worksheets)

Students Will:

Complete/save (Portfolio) 2 task worksheets successfully in PPU, as well as, rename it correctly in chronological order.

Activities (60 Minutes Total)

I do..(10 minutes) Instructed directly, I will guide the students through the bellringer process in detail (will not have to much longer after this week), as well as, introduce the Academy Choice doc that will act as thei scheduling source for High School schedules, etc. 

We Do..15 minutes) Together, we will navigate through the PPU task worksheet bellringer process, as well as, navigate through the Academy Choice doc and all the details needed for successfull completion covering all sections needed for edit.

You Do..(35 minutes) Independently, you, the student, will complete a bellringer (2 PPU Task Worksheets) and save it successfully to your Portfolio. Also, the student will move the Academy Choice doc in their Portfolio for easy access, as well as, begin editing early sections like 8th Grade Schedule and Current Schedule, etc. If time remains, students will continue finishing Kuder assessments from earlier in the week. 

Differentiation: Students needing to complete and save more PPU tasks may do so at their own pace in the scope of previously stated expectations.

Assessment

Students will be assessed via a bellringer (2 PPU Task Worksheets discussing soft/basic skills of students as they identify personail traits for Academic and Social Success), also, students will be assessed via the Academy Choice document and the editing of important sections such as 8th grade schedule, current schedule, etc. Students will also add this to their Portfolio.
