Career Academy Bulletin Assignment/PPU Completion Process
Standards
Develop a career exploration research project Arkansas. Keystone. Grades 9, 10.
Purpose Statement
I Can: Complete a bellringer by sharing my Career Portfolio with my teacher (3/4 Check for grade, etc.) Also, I can finish as many PPU task worksheets covering basic and soft skills as possible, always saving them to my PPU subfolder in my Portfolio. Also, I can prove my Peak Performance portion if my Portfolio is in the final stages.
Bellringer (10 Minutes)
Students Will:
Complete/save (Portfolio) 2 task worksheets successfully in PPU, as well as, rename it correctly in chronological order.

Activities (70 Minutes Total)
I do..(10 minutes) Instructed directly, I will instruct students through the bellringer expectations and process (2 PPU Task Worksheets saved to my Portfolio, etc) Also, I will guide the students as I describe what is expected regarding the "Career Academy Bulletin" assignment. Group delegation will take place.
We Do..15 minutes) Together, we will talk about the bellringer (2 PPU Task Worksheets saved successfully to my Portfolio), as well as, discuss the "Career Academy Bulletin" assignment in depth, discussing each role for each student within the group, as well as, the expectations. Group delegation will take place, as well.
You Do..(45 minutes) Independently, you, the student, will complete a bellringer by completing/saving 2 PPU task worksheets to your Portfolio successfully, as well as, begin group discussions regarding the implementation and design of the "Career Academy Bulletin" assignment. Group will negotiate the delegation of job duties, etc.

Differentiation:
Students that show proficiency in the PPU task worksheet completion can and should move on to any missing assignments assigned by me in the ICEV curriculum (Bonus Grades).

Assessment
Students will be assessed via a bellringer consisting of 2 PPU Task Worksheets focusing on soft and basic skills related to personal and academic success, etc. Also, students will be assessed via "Career Academy Bulletin" assignment assessing student knowledge of each of the three Career Academies at the High School, as well as, students will be assessed from the group's overall creativeness and accessibility to digital media, and/or any digital platform approved bu the district, etc.
*Read an article from a Sports/entertainment that applies to developing your social skills to help prepare you for the workforce!
