Welcome to Johnstonville's 3rd grade class for 2026-2027

Third grade is an exciting year full of growth, curiosity, and discovery. We will be building strong reading and writing skills, exploring new math concepts, and investigating the world through science and social studies. I am so excited to have your student this year ! 

• Please have your third grader practice their multiplication facts everyday. Third graders are expected to memorize and fluently recall multiplication facts (0–10) by the end of the year, and to understand the connection between multiplication and division. 

• Homework : Read and Respond minimum of 20 minutes every evening Monday-Thursday, total of 4 reading logs and a parent signature. I highly recommend you listen to your child read and at the end ask them questions about the reading .
