Ms. Galan
2026 - 2027
Welcome to our Resource Room, a supportive and inclusive learning space where every student is encouraged to learn, grow, and succeed. Our goal is to provide individualized instruction, meaningful interventions, and positive support based on each student’s unique strengths and needs. Together, we celebrate progress, build confidence, and help every learner reach their fullest potential.
The Importance of the Resource Room in Inclusive Education 💙📚
The Resource Room is more than just a place where students receive extra academic support. It is a safe and supportive learning environment where students can build confidence, strengthen skills, and learn in ways that work best for them.
The main functions of the Resource Room include providing Specialized Academic Instruction (SAI), individualized support, targeted intervention, accommodations, progress monitoring, and opportunities to practice skills that students may need to succeed in the general education classroom.
In inclusive education, the Resource Room plays an important role because it helps bridge the gap between a student’s individual needs and the expectations of the general education curriculum. Students may receive focused instruction in reading, writing, math, organization, communication, or other areas while continuing to be part of their school community and learning alongside their peers.
Most importantly, the Resource Room reminds us that inclusion does not mean every student learns in exactly the same way. Inclusion means providing every student with the support, tools, and opportunities they need to participate, learn, and feel successful.
Every child deserves to feel capable, valued, and included. ❤️
Resource Room + General Education + Collaboration = Stronger Support for Every Learner.
"A Teacher Takes a Hand, Opens a Mind & Touches a Heart.”
It represents what the first day is really about. It’s not only the beginning of lessons and schoolwork; it’s the beginning of building relationships, discovering each student’s strengths, and creating a classroom where every child feels supported.
Welcome S.Y 2026-2027
