Key information to know before you sign up for a class:
To be eligible for any class, a student must be at least 14 ½ years old by the registration date of the class he/she is planning to attend. All students must also be under the age of 18. In order to view our full schedule, please click on the Driver's Education Schedule Tab. The total cost for the program is $90.
Attendance at all class sessions is mandatory. If you have a conflict, you should sign up for a different class as exceptions cannot be accommodated. If you are in season with a sport or band, then you should wait until after your season is completed in order to sign up for the class. Only WJHS students and homeschool/private school students who live in the WJHS district are eligible for driver's education at WJHS. If you live in another district, then you should take driver's education at your assigned school site.
In order to sign up for a class please go to our Register for Classes tab. Once you have signed up for the class, you and your student will receive an email invitation for a required student/parent meeting to complete the registration for the class. If you are unable to attend the meeting for this upcoming class, then you should not sign up for this class. If the student and parent do not attend the student/parent meeting, then your student will not be registered for the class.
