How to Support Your Student(s) During Virtual Learning

During virtual learning, it can be difficult to help your students stay on-task and stay engaged. Here are some helpful tips to help your student during these unprecedented times.

  1. Create a learning space at home for your student(s).

  2. Make a schedule and stick to it. (Your students' teachers may have created a schedule for you, but if not create a daily schedule yourself)

  3. Try your best to reduce distractions for your student(s).

  4. Stay in contact with your students' teachers. Teachers are working extremely hard to make sure your student(s) are learning and growing, so please be sure to keep in contact with them and check-in on how your student(s) are performing. Ask how you can help your student(s).

  5. Use your resources! There are many resources available to your student(s). Be sure to pay attention to resources provided by your teacher and use them to your benefit!

  6. Take breaks and stay healthy. Be sure to have your student(s) take breaks as needed and take time to exercise daily.
