BEGINNING BAND CAMP

Rising 6th grade students are invited to attend the JOCO Beginning Band camp to learn how to begin playing their instrument before the school year starts. 

Dates: July 28 - 31, 2025

Location: Swift Creek Middle School 

325 Norris Rd Clayton NC 27520

Times: 8:30am - 12:00pm 

Check in will begin at 8am on July 28th in the lobby of the cafeteria at the back of the school near the bus parking lot. Please fill out the Release Form.

Everyday after the camp will begin at 8:30am. 

Concert will be held July 31st at 11:00am in Swift Creek Middle School Gym. All friends and family are welcome to come see what your student has learned at camp.

Students may bring additional cash each day to purchase concessions. 

Instruments: Make sure you reach out to your band director for more information about how to get your student an instrument. Instruments will be delivered on the first day of camp (July 28th) by the company of choice at the beginning band camp for students to use and take home. Below are two company's that are used throughout the JOCO County your band director can you specific details on how to get in touch with them.
