To reflect the needs and wishes within our community, The Little Jays program has an inclusive blend of children with and without disabilities. The Little Jays Program follows a structure including free play, music and movement, short group time, and shared book reading. Each session will have a different focus activity to build awareness of age-appropriate skills, including speech and language, gross motor, fine motor, and social-emotional.

These enrichment sessions will offer parents/caregivers and their children the opportunity to learn a multitude of things through peer interaction, free play, sensory/art activities, and literacy. Children will have the opportunity to strengthen their skills through exploration, discovery, and creative experiences. Parents/Caregivers will have the opportunity to not only learn new and exciting ways to interact with their child/children during these sessions, but will be able to ask questions to our early childhood staff about developmental milestones.

Little Jays has been a project we have been so excited to bring to the community, and we could not have done it without your support! Thank you to all of the families and children who joined us this year! We are working hard behind the scenes to create a Little Jays experience for the 2024-2025 school year and will post updates as they are solidified!
Have a great summer!
