Personal Mission Statement:
It is my personal mission to foster a classroom where learning is always taking place, whether it be educational or learning how to be a productive member of society. In my classroom everyone is important and their opinions and thoughts will be listened to when shared. It is my goal as an educator to prepare students not only for their educational career but provide them with knowledge to help them throughout their life. My goal is to help students strive for excellence in all aspects of life.

Inspiring Excellence, Fostering Leadership, and Cultivating Service
At Porter Elementary, our mission is not just about educating students; it's about cultivating well-rounded individuals who embody excellence in their pursuits, demonstrate leadership in their actions, and serve their communities with compassion and purpose. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student's unique talents and strengths are celebrated, and where they are inspired to become lifelong learners, leaders, and contributors to a better world.
About Me
This is my first year as a Porter Panther and I am so excited to be here! I have been married to my husband Tim for 22 years and he is a physician assistant at PMC. We have two wonderful boys who attend Johnson Central. Drew is a senior and recently completed a summer at Murray State as a part of the Governor's Scholar Program. Ijah is a junior and is the reigning Class 1A shot put champion for indoor and outdoor track. I enjoy cheering my boys on in all their academic and sport endevors as well as coaching track with my husband.
