About John...
John was born in London and started working as an actor when he was just six years old. His first ever speaking role was in the Terry Gilliam film "Brazil" and then a feature film for the Children's Film Foundation led to him acting in the "T-Bag" TV series on CITV. He has worked extensively in theatres across the country in plays, musicals and pantomimes. He also has many film and TV credits and has presented children's ITV both pre-recorded and live. Highlights include playing Timon in Disney's The Lion King both on a UK and Ireland tour and in the West End, London. He has recently been in Fawlty Towers - The Play at the Apollo Theatre in London and is delighted to be going back this summer to the Apollo and then going out on tour for the rest of 2025 with the show.
John has worked extensively as a voiceover artist and some of his animations include Thomas in Thomas and Friends, Go Jetters, Fireman Sam, Gecko’s Garage, Robozuna, Toot the Tiny Tugboat, Mike the Knight and Get Squiggling.
