John’s representation is in the practice of Energy Law, primarily real estate, property, oil and gas, and renewable energy related transactions. He also represents clients in business entity formations, contracting, estate planning, family law, and other legal matters.  Prior to starting his legal practice, he had a long and storied career as a U.S. Army Officer.  John graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law, where he earned multiple certifications in Legal Research and Alternative Dispute Resolution (mediation), as well as the Law School's coveted Law & Science Concentration in Energy Law.  In addition to work, John is active in community organizations and provides pro bono counsel designed to serve the needs of transitioning military Veterans in West Texas.
