Introducing New Freshmen Coach

DAX ANDERSEN

I played high school basketball all 4 years and started on the varsity team for 3 of those years. I made the All State Basketball team, 2^nd team All American and Honorable Mention my senior year.

I redshirted at Utah State University for one year in which year they won the Big West Championship which gave them a seat in the NCAA Tournament

I also played for one year at Adams State College

I’ve coached basketball at Combs Middle school for the last 2 years

I’ve been able to be an assistant at Combs High School for the last couple years as well.

I’ve grown up with basketball my whole life and have been mentored by my Dad Larry Andersen, who has coached at the High School level as well as at the College level and my Grandpa LaDell Andersen, who was the Head Basketball Coach at BYU, Athletic Director at Utah State University and also coached the Utah Stars. I thoroughly enjoy playing basketball and also enjoy sharing what I have learned over the years with those who I have been able to come in contact with and coach.
