Our client has developed a one-stop blockchain data platform to make on-chain and off-chain data indexing, querying, and sharing extremely fast, reliable, flexible, etc... We help developers build real-time, reliable, data-intensive apps in minutes — all without worrying about data processing in their frontends or backends! This is done through ready-to-use, flexible, and customizable APIs.

About the role:

We’re looking for an early Backend Engineer to join us. We store and index a massive amount of data, and need to make the storage layer efficient and the query engine fast. This role will interact with widely used big data open-source projects. This role will design, implement, optimize, and maintain the backend to accommodate large-scale data and queries.

What you'll do:

• Build microservices to serve our customers

• Build real-time systems that can handle millions of TPS in sub-10ms latency

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle of identifying, designing, and building new features

What you'll need:

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience

• Deep understanding of the distributed system

• Ability to solve complex design, scaling, latency, or performance problems in high-throughput, low-latency systems

• Dive deep into at least one open-source project

• BA/BS in STEM, Economics, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or other quantitative focus (or equivalent work experience)
