Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ernakulam

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Ernakulam, located at Neriamangalam, Ernakulam District, Kerala – 686 693, is a co-educational, fully residential Senior Secondary School administered by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous organisation under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Established in 1986/1987, the Vidyalaya has been serving the educational needs of talented children, particularly from rural areas of Ernakulam district, by providing quality education in a disciplined, caring and intellectually stimulating residential environment. The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, under Affiliation No. 940002.

Admission

Admission to Class VI is made through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) conducted as per the admission policy of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Admissions to other classes, wherever vacancies exist, are made through the prescribed selection process of NVS.

The Vidyalaya follows the admission guidelines, reservation provisions and other norms prescribed by the Government of India and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Free Education and Residential Facilities

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are designed to provide talented students with access to quality education irrespective of their economic background.

Students are provided education and residential facilities in accordance with the norms of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
