JNTUK University College of Engineering Vizianagaram (JNTUK UCEV), is one of the constituent engineering colleges of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, and playing a significant role in imparting technical education in Andhra Pradesh, since 2007. The state-of-the-art campus is spread across 80 acres in a hilly area located at a distance of 8km from Vizianagaram town. At present the institute is offering 7 UG programmes (B.Tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, ME, CE and Metallurgy) and 6 PG programmes (M.Tech. In Computer Science and Engineering, Advanced Power Systems, Systems and Signal Processing, Machine Design and Information Technology, and MCA).

About Department of CSE:

The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in the year 2007. The department offers B.Tech. programme in CSE with an annual intake of 60 students. The department is also offering one Post Graduate course, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. The department has well experienced and qualified teaching faculty and technical staff. The department has well equipped laboratories catering to the fields of computer science and engineering. Since its establishment, the department has been organizing intensive courses, seminars, workshops, technical symposia and conferences related to various trending areas of computer science.
