End of the Erasmus+ Experience: Final Reflections from Claudia and Aroa

In this video, Claudia and Aroa, students of the Pharmacy and Parapharmacy Vocational Training programme at Colegio Jesús María San Agustín in Orihuela, Spain, share their reflections at the end of their Erasmus+ mobility.

This training placement has taken place within the framework of our Vocational Education and Training project “Unity in Diversity: Enhancing European Shared Opportunities and Experiences”, project number 2025-1-ES01-KA122-VET-000322129.

Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme and the co-funding of the European Union, our students have had the opportunity to carry out practical training in an international professional environment, improve their language skills, develop new professional competences and experience life in another European culture.

Claudia and Aroa look back on what they have learned during their stay and share what this Erasmus+ experience has meant for them as they complete their mobility.

As the Erasmus+ KA122-VET project “Broadening Horizons in Europe” comes to an end, we would like to share a concise overview of the project’s key results and the dissemination actions carried out to highlight its impact within our school community.

Key results

Enhanced professional competences through international training experiences.
Improved English communication in real-life, work-related contexts.
Development of transversal skills: autonomy, adaptability, responsibility and teamwork.
Transfer to the school: learning integrated into teaching practice and school organisation (resources, coordination and mobility procedures).

Key milestones shared through institutional channels.
On-site awareness and dissemination actions (sessions/presentations).
Internal sharing to ensure sustainability and continued impact.

This project has strengthened the European dimension of learning and helped consolidate a culture of internationalisation and continuous improvement at our school.

Erasmus Days 2025: Celebrating Our European Union

Welcome to our exciting Erasmus Days 2025!

On 16th October, we began the day with the reading of the Erasmus Manifesto. Afterwards, everyone joined in to sing the European anthem while the school flag was raised. All the pupils proudly waved their own European flags, which they had coloured and cut out in class.

On Friday, 18th October, at 8 a.m., an informative talk about the Erasmus projects took place. All Secondary and Vocational students attended with great interest. During the session, some of our students who had taken part in Erasmus mobilities in Dublin last year shared their experiences with the rest of the school community.

After the talk, students from Year 10 (3º ESO) and the Vocational programmes led a series of interactive workshops about the European Union. Primary pupils took part enthusiastically, completing their Erasmus passport as they enjoyed each activity.

It was a few days full of joy and European spirit, where everyone in our school felt proud to be part of Europe!
