1) Access to the library
-Entry
Please enter through the main entrance of the school building instead of the back entrance/exit of the building by the library. Parent/Guardian ID is required to enter the school building, or please present your own ID such as a driver's license.
If you have a parent/guardian ID, please enter through the main entrance, and proceed to the library. Patrons without a parent/guardian ID and general public are welcomed after 9:30 am. Please sign in and present your own ID at the security counter at the main lobby before coming to the library.
After entering the main entrance, please proceed through the corridor in the courtyard to the rear of the school building.
-Exit
The exit is the back entrance/exit of the building located at the rear end of the library. Please note that this previous entrance/exit of the school building is for exit only. After leaving the library, patrons are not allowed to remain in the school building.
2) Proof of COVID-19 vaccination/negative result
Neither proof of vaccination nor proof of negative result is required.
Unfortunately, due to the current situation with COVID-19, we don't accept any donation for the time being. Thank you for your consideration.
At JLS, we consider this library as an important teaching asset for education in Japanese and have put an effort to allocate a certain library budget. However, there is a limit to purchase new books due to the tight financial situation. Many of the books at the JLS Library are contributions made over time by parents and people who have helped run the school. We would appreciate your continued support for Japanese education by contributing your books to the library.
