Japanese Library

Please enter the school building through the main front entrance. You will be required to present a Photo ID (such as your Parent ID or a Driver's License) upon entering the premises.

For those with a Parent ID: Please show your Parent ID at the Monitor Desk in the entrance hall and sign the entry list before proceeding to the library.
For those without a Parent ID: Please come after 9:30 AM. Present your Photo ID, sign the entry list at the Monitor Desk, and inform the attendant that you are visiting the library.

After entering the main entrance, please proceed straight through the courtyard walkway toward the rear of the building. When you re-enter the school building from the walkway, turn left, and the library will be on your right.

▶︎ Exit (Leaving the Building)

Upon leaving the library, only parents who are on duty (e.g., PTA duty) may remain in the school building. All other users must exit the premises via the main front entrance. (For safety management reasons, the school exit door near the playground, located behind the library, is strictly for emergency use and is not accessible for regular exit.)

▶︎ Returns

Please return books at the return counter, which is located in front of the table at the back of the library.

▶︎ Borrowing (Check-Outs)

You may borrow up to 5 books per library card. The loan period for all books is two weeks.

Please ensure you bring your library card with you.

Japanese Book Donations 📚

We accept book donations on the first school day of the month (limited to once a month due to limited storage space).

The acceptance dates for the current school year are:

December 6th
January 10th
February 7th
March 7th

Donated books will either be added directly to the library collection or utilized in our book fair, which is held as part of our efforts to secure the budget for purchasing new books.

Therefore, we would be grateful if you could bring books that meet the following criteria to the library if you have them at home.

Please understand that due to our limited storage space, we may have to ask you to take back any books that do not meet the criteria. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Criteria for Donated Books:

Children's Books / Picture Books
Manga / Manga Magazines
Novels
Practical Books (published in 2021 or later)
Magazines (published in 2024 or later)
