Dan - Lead Vocals/Percussion
A musician since the third grade, Dan Turdo got his first drum set through his music teacher (a 1965 Rogers 5-piece) and grew up jamming with friends all through high school. Dan handled drum and vocal duties in his first band, SICK NELLIE (1995/96) and went on to front Grace’s Basement for 21 years. Today, he joins fellow NJ & NY-area vets Jimi, Mark, and Tom as lead vocalist of Pretty Damn Close.
Tom T - Bass/Vocals
Tom Tsilionis (aka Tommy T, Double T, T-Squared, Ole’ Painless, The Impaler) , is a rock 5-string bass player and vocalist that has been performing for live audiences throughout the tri-state area since his early teens, in a multitude of rock cover bands and punk/alt original projects. A key moment for Tom was having played some of the most complicated bass lines of John Entwistle (The Who), while along-side famous guitarist Godfrey Townsend, who was an actual member of John Entwistle’s solo band. Currently attached to notable cover band projects ‘BLAME IT ON THE GIRL’, ‘ROCK HARD’, tribute band ‘BARGAIN-THE WHO TRIBUTE’, and here, elated to be with his very talented band mates and friends in ‘PRETTY DAMN CLOSE’! Jimmy - Guitar/Vocals
Jim Fuge has played over 3,000 shows, written over 300 songs, played with Beatlemania, had a song on WBAB radio station with Mark and has taught over 200 students. Jimmy was in "Smack" with Mark in the 80's. Jimmy was voted “Best guitarist of the year” five consecutive years in the Bronx times. Playing from the age of 11, he got his first guitar and still has that same acoustic guitar today!
Mark - Drums
Mark Jenkins on drums has been playing rock n roll for quite some time. In the 80’s, he was in “Smack” (VH tribute band) with Jimmy as well as “Hittman.” Both achieved huge success including an original song with Smack on WBAB LI radio and a record deal for Hittman with a European tour. Mark is also the drummer for local NY band “Kick Start Charlie.” He has studied with the great Rod Morgenstein of the Dixie Dregs, Joe Franco of the Good Rats, Tommy Aldridge and others. Mark is an incredible and very musical drummer, possessing lightning speed, thunderous kicking, great chops and finesse, all wrapped up in one.
