Grading for grade 6th Grade:
- The report card grade is composed as follows:
60% oral - 40% written
- The written part consists of class tests, assessments, and quizzes.
- The oral part consists of all other contributions such as oral participation, homework, projects, partner and group work, presentations, etc.
Homework/Late Work Policy
Homework, projects, and classwork are given to support what is currently being taught in the classroom and to help the students develop responsibility.
Because of this, students will have just one week in which to turn in late work.
The grade may be lowered each day it is late.
Work that is more than one week overdue may not be accepted.
Work that is consistently turned in late or missing will negatively impact the student’s oral participation grade.
Every friday there will be homework for Math, Soc. Stud. D1 and D2. Due date for Homework is allways friday one week later.
