Our PTA has been recognized both by the NJ PTA and the National PTA!

2024-2025 NJ PTA DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AWARD

This award was presented to a PTA at the NJPTA Leadership Convention held in Atlantic City, NJ on November 3, 2025 at the NJ PTA Awards Dinner for demonstrating diversity, equity and inclusion in planning programs and events for our school community.

2024-2025 NJ PTA PRESIDENT'S RECOGNITION AWARD

The NJPTA President awards this to an outstanding program/activity that speaks on behalf of all children. We received this award for initiating a district-wide service project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. which, since 2021, resulted in the collection of over 5,000 hygiene kits and care packages that have been distributed through a local non-profit organization to individuals and families in need. "This initiative has strengthened community ties, inspired volunteerism, and set a standard of excellence for PTA leadership across the district."

2022-2023 NJ PTA EARLY BIRD MEMBERSHIP AWARD

This award was given for reaching 60% of our Membership Goal by September 30, 2022.

2022-2023 NJ PTA TRAILBLAZER MEMBERSHIP INCENTIVE AWARD

This award was given for reaching 75% of our Membership Goal by November 30, 2022.

2021-2022 NJ PTA COMMUNICATION AWARD

Our PTA was the recipient of the 2021-2022 NJ PTA Communication Award at the NJ PTA Leadership Convention that was held on April 1 & 2 in Fairfield, NJ. Shazia Ansari and Cooper principal, Rebecca Tiernan, were honored to accept the award from NJ PTA President Candy Fredericks, National PTA President Anna King, and NJ PTA Regional Director Momina Cammarata on behalf of our PTA. Thank you to all of the PTA members who have assisted in keeping our PTA running smoothly!

2021-2022 NJ PTA APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS AWARD

Our PTA was the recipient of the 2021-2022 NJ PTA April Flowers Bring May Flowers Award for exceeding our 2020-2021 Membership totals by April 30, 2022.

2021-2022 NJ PTA MEMBERSHIP GROWTH MIGHTY OAK AWARD 

Our PTA was the recipient of the 2021-2022 NJ PTA Membership Growth Mighty Oak Award for achieving over 25% growth over the 2020-2021 school year's totals.
