Cemetery

Unfortunately, it seems there are no gravestones preserved from the original Jewish cemetery in Lukashevka. The European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative has a survey of the remnants of the site, including photos and a 3D site rendering.

However, there is a Lukashevka burial society at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.

There is scant information on the Lukashevka burial society, called the Lukashivker Landslayt - Benevolent Association of Faithful Friends, Inc., filed as a Domestic Not-for-Profit Corporation in the State of New York on Wednesday, February 3, 1926.  Incorporation documentation can be found at YIVO in RG 123 (Record Group), file 124, but there is no apparent digital version yet (as of 2025).
