Belogorodka's Jewish Cemetery
The remnants of a small cemetery exist in Belogorodka, mostly underground in a field to the north of the town, along the Vydava River. The Christian cemetery is nearby. A few stones are visible, though toppled and incomplete. Stones identified date between 1864 and 1927.

Many of these cemeteries have sections reserved for people from Volhynia, Zaslawers, or specifically Belogorodkers. Some (for example, Chesed Shel Emeth in St. Louis) were created specifically by and for immigrants from Volhynia who wanted to follow their unique burial practices, which differed from the existing German Jewish population. There were burial societies and landsmanshaft in many of these cities and towns. We have documented the existence of "The Belogorodka Society" in St. Louis, Chicago, and Rock Island, IL.
