My lifelong home and hearth, St. Joe is dear to my heart: I've spent all 18 years of my life (and hopefully the rest) thankful to live in a community that's surrounded by beautiful beaches and filled with strong-willed, industrious people. 

However, as I've entered adulthood, the challenges facing our community have never been clearer to me: expensive houses, seasonal jobs, and scarce higher education are choking out our community--no wonder so many of my peers leave for college and never come back.

Fortunately though, things are looking up for St. Joe: with new businesses moving into town electricians, plumbers, and other well-paid tradesmen are in high demand, and I'm developing a plan to give students like me the head-start on work experience that we need...

So, it's with your support on and before November 5th that I gladly go forward to make St. Joseph Public Schools the engine that drives our town into the future.
