All homework will be gone on the computers through the help of Assisstments. Check out the video to the left to see how it works.
Key Things to Know as a Parent:
Students will access ASSISTments through our school’s Google Classroom.
Students should still use paper and pencil to show their work before entering responses into ASSISTments. They can upload a picture of their work in some cases.
ASSISTments generates a percentage score (for example 67%) that reflects the number of attempts on each question (students get multiple tries) and if they got it right. Students lose 33% of their score for each incorrect attempt on a problem. This percentage will not be used as a grade. This homework is only graded on a completion basis.
ASSISTments uses four symbols to show how your child did on an assignment. Students will also see these symbols after they complete an assignment. The meaning of each symbol is to the left.
If your child needs support using ASSISTments at home, they can visit these Supports for Students.
