What I love about teaching kids: I love how it teaches me to slow down and let go of the little things. If I did everything for the students because it would be easier if I did it, they would be watching me do things “perfectly” instead of growing their skills. It’s helped me grow more margin for mistakes and allowed me to see more things as practice instead of trying to be perfect.

What I love about teaching kids: I love watching my students get excited about all of their hard work and every accomplishment (big and small)! 

I love watching my students independently begin to use strategies that have been taught!  I love working alongside families to help students meet their goals!
