A school-based enterprise (SBE) is a student-led entrepreneurial operation in a school setting that provides goods/services to meet the needs of the community. They are operated from the school campus utilizing facilities, equipment and other resources provided by the agricultural education program or the school in general. SBEs are managed and operated by students as hands-on, experiential learning operations.
