Beginning in the Spring of 2019, district leaders were joined by teachers, students, parents and leaders representing every high school across Jessamine County to begin the process of unifying our grading systems. The team met for a year to study research, review best practices, and find consensus for what grading practices would benefit students in Jessamine County. The practices and policy from this work were adopted by School-Based Decision Making (SBMD) Councils at the schools in Spring of 2020.
