Kylie Woody has been on the NEWS for two years. She is on the dance team, and is on the social media team. She loves to write and create articles. 

Naomy Aubry

Naomy Aubry is in her first year on the NEWS! She is on the Social media team and loves to write. 

Autumn Abernathy

Autumn is a VLA student for WJHS. She has a particular interest in all things Taylor Swift-related, and loves baking, reading, and hanging out with friends in her spare time.

Olivia Palmer

Olivia is a sophomore at West. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading, tennis, baking, art, and spending time with family and friends!

Ella Kamau

Ella Kamau is in her junior year here at West! She is a member of Jessamine County’s Mock Trial team, and loves acting in West’s theatre productions. This is her second year writing for the Colt Nation News and she hopes the paper continues to grow to be a place where students can learn about the school and other topics that might interest them. 

Grace Loghry

Grace Loghry is a sophomore at West Jessamine High School this year. In her freetime, she enjoys doing sports, piano, and anything to do with the UK Wildcats. It is her second year in Newspaper.

Elisabeth Howard is a sophomore at WJHS who does show choir, concert choir, other styles of dance, photography, art, and writing. 

IsaBelle Cutter

IsaBelle Cutter has been on the NEWS for 3 years and is a part of the band! She is a flute player who loves to listen and play music. She also loves to write and plans to become a journalist.
