Pre-Kindergarten E-Learning Homework
Hello Parents,
We are sending home four weeks worth of materials for you to use at home as you see fit for your child and family. During this at home learning time, we know not all families are in the exact same situation. Some parents are still working and trying to juggle their child's school work, some parents are juggling multiple children in multiple grades, and some parents are home with their children and have the time to devote to their learning. For some, your home life has become more stressful and our intentions are not to add stress but to add assistance. So please know that these E-Learning Homework choice boards are not intended to add undue stress but to help guide you in their learning at home.
If you feel you can and want to do everything each day that is wonderful. But if you feel you can't do more than one activity a day or every other day, we understand that as well. The material is broken down into six activities per day for four weeks. Each day you can address the areas of: Reading, Letters/Sounds, Math, Fine Motor, Art/Sensory, and Science. Again, do what interests your child and you feel you have the patience for. Be flexible with the suggestions we have provided. Pre-K students are at a wide range of learning due to age and ability, the activities may have to be modified to fit your child's need for their level. We know not everyone will have the exact materials it suggests, so please improvise as best you can. We will continue to send a video each day of us reading a book and an additional video a few times a week of letter/sound learning.
We miss each and every one of our students so very much and we hope that we will be seeing each other as soon as possible. Please continue to try and stay in contact as the interaction is emotionally helpful for your child. We are here to assist you as best we can during this time.
