This Privacy Policy explains how Flappy Axolotl handles information when you play the game. It applies to the Android version of the game and to related Play Games Services features such as sign-in, cloud saves, and leaderboards.

Information We Handle

Flappy Axolotl is designed to keep most gameplay information on your device. Depending on which features you use, the game may handle the following information.

Local Gameplay Progress

The game stores progress locally on your device, including information such as:

• best score and run history

• unlocked axolotl forms, trails, titles, bundles, and cosmetics

• collected eggs, hatch dust, hatchery progress, and lore progress

• selected settings and profile choices

• local high score entries

This data is used to run the game, restore your progress, unlock content, and show your in-game achievements.

Google Play Games Services

If you sign in with Google Play Games, Google may provide the game with Play Games account information needed for game features, such as your player identifier, display name, sign-in status, saved game access, and leaderboard access.

Flappy Axolotl uses Google Play Games Services for:

• signing in to your Play Games account

• saving and restoring your game progress with Saved Games / cloud saves

• submitting and displaying leaderboard scores

Cloud save data may include your gameplay progress, unlocks, resources, purchase-related entitlement records, and score history. This data is linked to your Google Play Games account so your progress can be restored after reinstalling the game or moving to another device.

Google handles your Google account and Play Games data under Google's own privacy terms. You can review Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Leaderboards

When leaderboards are enabled, the game may submit your score and related run details, such as biome, form, stage, combo, or display name. Google Play leaderboards are managed by Google Play Games Services and may show your score, rank, and Play Games profile information to you and to other players according to your Google Play Games privacy settings.

The game's global leaderboard uses Google Firebase independently of Google Play Games sign-in. When you open this leaderboard or finish a clean run, Firebase Authentication creates a guest identifier for this installation. The game stores a refresh credential locally so it can reconnect as the same guest after restarting.

The leaderboard service receives your chosen nickname, score, form, biome, combo, and run duration. It stores the guest identifier, your best score and its public details, and timestamps. Run duration is checked when accepting a score but is not stored in the leaderboard record. Your nickname, best score, form, biome, combo, and rank are visible to other players. Choose a nickname rather than a real name or other personal information.

Firebase and Google Cloud process connection information needed to operate and secure these services, including network addresses and service request logs. The game does not send your full save profile, purchase records, or Google Play Games account information to this global leaderboard service.

Score Card Saving and Sharing

The game can generate a score card image from your current result. When you choose to save the score card, the game writes the image to your device's media storage or photo gallery. When you choose to share it, Android opens the native share sheet so you can pick another app.

The selected receiving app, such as a messaging or social media app, handles the image and any message text after you choose to share it. Flappy Axolotl does not control how those third-party apps use shared content.

Purchases

If in-app purchases are enabled, purchases are processed by Google Play. Flappy Axolotl does not receive your payment card or banking details. The game may receive purchase-related information needed to unlock content, such as product identifiers, purchase tokens, receipts, and entitlement status.

Ads

Advertising and Google AdMob

Flappy Axolotl uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK, also known as Google AdMob, to display advertisements within the game.

Advertisements may include:

Rewarded advertisements, which you may choose to watch for an in-game benefit, such as continuing a dive, claiming a bonus expedition chest or swapping a daily challenge.

Interstitial advertisements, which may be displayed automatically during post-dive transitions, such as when moving between the results screen, menus or a new dive.

When advertisements are requested or displayed, Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information including your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, general location derived from the IP address, interactions with the game and advertisements, and diagnostic or performance information. This information may be used to provide and measure advertisements, limit how frequently advertisements are shown, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose technical issues and, where permitted, personalise advertisements.

Where required by applicable law, Flappy Axolotl will request your consent or provide advertising privacy choices. These choices may include whether your information can be used for personalised advertising, advertising measurement or related purposes. Your consent choices may be stored on your device and communicated to Google’s advertising services. You may be shown non-personalised or limited advertisements depending on your location, age, device settings and consent choices.

Optional Usage Analytics

If you allow usage analytics, Flappy Axolotl uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played and improve it. Collection is off until you choose to allow it. You can turn it off again in Settings > Help > Usage Analytics. This choice is stored on this device and is separate from your advertising choices and cloud save.

Analytics can include app opens and sessions, app version and device information, an app installation identifier, screens visited, active gameplay and menu time, scores and biomes, progression, owned and newly unlocked axolotls and trails, hatches, daily rewards, purchase product identifiers, ad offers and acceptance or refusal, ad impressions and presentation duration, closed or interrupted ads, earned and applied ad rewards, and ad revenue reported by the advertising SDK. Google may derive approximate location from connection information. We use this information for aggregate usage and performance reports.

We do not send your nickname, email, Google Play Games player identifier, leaderboard guest identifier, purchase token, or full save profile as custom analytics data. We do not set an analytics user ID linked to your account. Analytics advertising identifier collection and advertising personalization signals are disabled. Google Play purchases may also be measured automatically by Google's SDK.

Turning analytics off stops future collection; it does not automatically remove previously collected reports. Contact us with privacy questions or deletion requests. Google processes analytics information under its Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Diagnostics

The game does not include a dedicated crash reporting SDK. Google Play, Android, or your device may still collect app diagnostics, crash information, and usage information according to your Google account, Google Play, Android, and device settings.

How We Use Information

We use information handled by the game to:

• run core gameplay and save progress

• restore progress through Google Play Games cloud saves

• unlock cosmetics, hatchery content, bundles, and rewards

• show local, global, and Google Play leaderboard scores

• generate score card images when you request them

• support purchase entitlements if purchases are enabled

• understand gameplay, progression, usage and ad performance when you allow usage analytics

• troubleshoot bugs, crashes, or support requests

• protect the game from abuse, cheating, or fraudulent activity

Sharing Information

Flappy Axolotl does not sell your personal information.

Information may be shared in these limited cases:

• with Google Play Games Services when you sign in, use cloud saves, or use Google Play leaderboards

• with Google Play when purchases are processed

• with Google Analytics for Firebase when you allow optional usage analytics

• with Google Firebase and Google Cloud to authenticate guests and operate the global leaderboard, and with other players through its public score entries

• with apps you choose through the Android share sheet

• when required to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent fraud, or protect users

Your Choices

You can choose not to sign in to Google Play Games. Some features, such as cloud saves and Google Play leaderboards, may not work without sign-in.

You can decline usage analytics or change your choice in Settings > Help > Usage Analytics. Gameplay, unlocks, purchases and ad rewards work regardless of this choice.

You can delete local game progress by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app from your device. Score card images saved to your device remain on your device until you delete them.

You can manage Google Play Games data and account settings through your Google account and Play Games settings. Clearing local app data or uninstalling does not delete a previously uploaded global leaderboard entry. You may contact us at the email above for privacy questions or to request deletion of your global leaderboard data.

Retention

Local game progress remains on your device until you delete the app data or uninstall the game.

Analytics retention is controlled by the game's Google Analytics property settings and Google's policies. Aggregated reports may remain after the user-level retention period. Clearing app data removes this device's analytics preference; reinstalling requires a new choice.

Google Play Games cloud save and leaderboard data are retained according to your Google account settings and Google's policies. Global leaderboard entries are kept to provide ongoing rankings until removed through a deletion request or moderation. Firebase guest identifiers remain associated with those entries while the service operates.

Children

Flappy Axolotl does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information through the game, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect game data handled by the app. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Processing

If you use Google Play Games, Google Play, cloud saves, leaderboards, optional usage analytics, advertising, or sharing features, information may be processed in countries other than your own according to the policies of the relevant service providers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the game changes, when new features are added, or when legal or platform requirements change. The updated version will show a new "Last updated" date.
