Library policies are subject to change or update at any time as the needs of the school see fit.

Entering the Media Center

Students may come into the Media Center before homeroom (from 7:20-7:32) without a pass. They must behave appropriately and follow all school rules.
Students must have a valid and accepted Smartpass to utilize the Media Center during the school day (7:35-2:22).
Students may come into the Media Center after school from 2:22-3:15PM from Monday through Thursday. They must behave appropriately and follow all school rules. Students must understand that there is afterschool tutoring and they must be respectful of keeping a quiet environment for their peers.

Lunch & Academic

20 students will be accepted into both halves for lunch/academic AND MUST have an approved Smartpass from Mrs. Vislosky
Students must be coming to the Media Center from academic NOT from the cafeteria.
Students who are disruptive, insubordinate, or otherwise inappropriate will be written up and will be prohibited from coming to the Media Center for at least one week.
Students are encouraged to collaborate during lunch/academic but should maintain an appropriate volume in the library.

Books will be on loan for 21 days
Students may renew their loans as many times as they want as long as the material is not on hold
Books that are returned in good condition will never receive a fine - even if overdue.
Books that are not returned by the last day of school will be sent to the office and will be fined if lost. Fines may permit students from participating in school events, getting their diploma, or walking during graduation.
