Dear Watson Lane Families,

Hello Wildcat Families, and welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am excited and honored to move from Assistant Principal to Principal at Watson Lane. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and the school. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities and serve to support our students.

Watson Lane Elementary is a wonderful school with a dynamic teaching staff. This will be The Best Year Yet! Your child will feel safe in a caring environment with dedicated teachers and staff who are committed to ensuring a high standard of excellence and student support. In addition, Watson Lane is implementing two terrific curricular resources to help accelerate your child’s reading and math growth.

You will receive a transportation letter in the mail. Please respond to this as soon as possible by calling the school at 485-834. We can make sure our transportation is accurate. Safety will always be our number one priority and we want to make sure everyone has a smooth and accurate transportation plan.

Our school’s “Meet and Greet” will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. At this time you will have an opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and tour our building. Enclosed is a supply list as well as our dress code. It is important that our families all have access to Parent Portal and School CNXT for school communication. We will also be utilizing Facebook (@WatsonLaneWildcats) to share events and information. Please join our social media so you are connected and updated.
