Tickets are priced to include four hours of dancing, multiple photo booths, enough food for dinner and late night snacks, and an unforgettable experience. If you have concerns about the cost of your ticket, please see one of the prom sponsors.
The dress code is formal, which means suits, tuxedos, formal gowns, etc. If you have any questions about your specific attire, please bring a picture and show Mrs. Ocasio or Mrs. Currin. Also, if you need help getting formal attire, please see one of the Prom sponsors, Mrs. Ocasio, or another administrator.
If you wish to bring a guest who is not a Valley student, you will need to complete the "Guest Request Form." You may pick it up at the front office beginning on March 9th. If your guest is not a JCPS student, you must bring a copy of their photo identification with their birthdate when you bring the request form back. Once your guest has been approved, you will need to buy their ticket with yours. The Guest Request Forms are dur to Mr. McCabe by 4/17/26.
The minimum age requirement for a guest is 14 (a freshman in high school). Guests cannot be older than 20.
For attendance concerns, please see Ms. Caitlin Lomax in the front office. If you have questions about your GPA eligibility, you should see your Academy Counselor. If you have questions about your suspension eligibility, you should see your Academy Principal.
Look at your Grade Level Google Classroom for a link to the nomination page. The number of nominations a student receives has NO bearing on who makes the final Prom Court. Nominations will occur from March 9th through March 13th.
Go to the Valley High School Main Office when the school is open. You may purchase tickets from Mrs. Jessica Brown. Tickets will still only be available for sale April 8th through April 23rd.
Please see Mrs. Lewis in the Valley Youth Service Center as soon as possible. There are several programs around the city that can also assist in locating prom attire.
