Social Security Numbers (SSN)
This is critical for all students.
Did you know that thousands of students don't receive free scholarship monies, often because they are just missing their Social Security Number.
Over 54% of JCPS students do not have a social security number listed in Infinite Campus. Without a linked SSN, students cannot earn KEES money.
All students are required to have a copy of their Social Security card as part of their official school records. Please bring a copy of your child's Social Security card to New Student Orientation. It will be photocopied and returned.
JCPS 2024-25 School Year Information

New Student Orientation - Optional
Tuesday - Noon - July 30th
Thursday - 6 pm - August 1st
New Student Orientation, both dates and times are the same information. Need only attend one.
Will walk the building, visit rooms and prepare for the first day.
JCPS Transportation Verification 24-25
ALL Car riders, Bus Riders or SNT buses
ALL families must complete the Transportation Verification process for their student(s) by July 21.

Attendance is a BIG DEAL
The minimum attendance percentage is 80% (unexcused absences only).
If your student drops below this number prior to January 1st, your student will be put on probation and may be exited by the end of the year.
Weapon Detection System
They have been installed in all JCPS High Schools.
This will make our school safer and that is our priority.
All students, staff and parents/guardians that are entering the building will have to walk through the system.
There will be one located in the front and one in the back of the building.
This includes parents/guardians that enter the building at any point during the school day.
We will be practicing with the students to insure they understand the process.

Physicals and Vaccinations
JCPS is offering free physicals and vaccinations for students this month. Students starting kindergarten, going into the sixth grade, or playing sports must have a physical exam and be up to date on state-required vaccines.
Clinics will be held at a number of schools from June 17 to 28.
