I meet with students once a week or every other week for approximately 30 minutes to work on issues affecting their ability to engage in their schoolwork. I use evidence-based therapeutic tools to help students learn new copings skills, anger management, gentle parenting, healthy relationship skills, and much more.
Sometimes everyone can use a little extra support. I can help you find a counselor/therapist from a community agency who will meet your student's mental health needs.
Supporting a pregnant/parenting teen can be hard. I can give guidance and tips to help you help your student manage their mental health needs.
Through out the year all students will have the opportunity to participate in Mental Wellness activities. EX: Suicide Prevention Week, Healthy Relationships Week.
