SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART, MATH

Introduction

The goal of this project is to create a growing database of videos that educators can use to introduce students to the stories and careers of amazing women in STEAM fields and incorporate engaging, real-world applications of math into the classroom daily.

If you are a woman in a STEAM field, please continue reading below to find out how you can help!

If you are a student or teacher, please check out the pages with videos organized by grade level!

How Can You Help?

Create a short video (3-7 minutes, nothing super long or fancy needed!) in which you do the following:

🔹Introduce yourself

🔹Give a brief overview of your career

🔹Share a bit about your life, how you got to where you are today

🔹Tell us about a time you failed and how you learned from it/something good came from it

🔹Ask a math problem/task related to your career that fits into the middle school curriculum

🔹Answer a student's question*
