This 8th grade student-led event is an opportunity for our Business and Communications students to showcase the completion of the LAUNCH cycle and exhibit a real-life application product. Students explained their business plan to staff and classmates.

Engineering & Design

Freeze Tag Tournament

This 8th grade student-led event is an opportunity for our Engineering & Design students to showcase the completion of theDesign Process and exhibit a real-life application product. Students teamed with staff in the building and competed through a tournament bracket to claim the Freeze Tag Title.

Explore Showcase

The Showcase is a student led event that allows students the opportunity to share what they've learned in their pathway class. The event is led by ambassadors and other 7th & 8th graders that experience their pathway for a full year. The 6th graders attend and get a sneak peak in each pathway of what they would experience if they choose that pathway for 7th & 8th grade. Once a 6th graders choose, they get to journey through that pathway for two full years.

Choice Ceremony

6th graders take introductory courses in each pathway that focus on Backpack of Success Skills Connections, Design Thinking & Project Based Learning. Students first explore & then choose their pathway at end of year. Students take a survey and their choice is revealed at the Choice Ceremony. Last year, 6th graders received t-shirts representing their pathway.
