Contacting your teacher:

Contact Information: Make sure your contact information, including phone numbers, for school is up to date . This is crucial in a digital school/world. Having the most up to date information allows the school to keep you updated. All sign-ups and contact with school MUST be made through your student email. You MUST use your school email when signing up for Google Classroom, Remind, Edpuzzle, Quizlet, emailing a teacher, etc.

EMAILING: Check your school email regularly! If you are sending an email to your teacher or staff, you MUST use your school email. I do not open mail from a student's personal account. When you send your teacher an email be professional. Start with a greeting, add a short body, and end with a closing. For my class, always put your class period, last name, first name or initial, and a quick note about the subject of your email in the "Subject" line. I have included an example below.

Subject: 1st, Smith, Mary question about syllabus

Ms. Henderson,

I hope you had a nice weekend. I was looking through the syllabus and could not find the supply list for your class. Where can I find this?

Thank you,

Mary Smith
