Student Expectations for Non-Traditional Learning

• Establish daily routines for engaging in learning activities.

• While optional, a sample schedule is posted on the first grade website.

• Establish a consistent learning space.

• Students should sit at a table or desk.

• Ensure students are away from distractions (i.e. siblings, pets, toys, etc.).

• Complete assignments with integrity and quality.

• Student work should be completed with minimal help from parents and guardians.

• Work will be assigned at the start of the week and due the following Sunday night.

• Communicate proactively with your teachers if you cannot meet deadlines or require additional support.

• Adhere to proper Google Meet etiquette.

• Students should not be on other devices.

• Students’ videos should show their full faces.

• Appropriate clothing should be worn (i.e. no pajamas, costumes, etc.).

• Students should be muted unless noted by their teacher.

• Students should raise hands to speak.
