LaQueisha Bonds has spent virtually her entire career at Mill Creek Elementary School.

Ms. Bonds is "both passionate about the school and community and someone who understands the next steps needed for school improvement” said Dr. Marty Pollio, JCPS Superintendent. “I am confident that Ms. Bonds will successfully improve student outcomes from the firm foundation that already exists.”

Ms. Bonds came to Mill Creek in 2005 as an Exceptional Child Education teacher. She has coordinated the leadership magnet program and been an assistant principal before serving as the interim principal.

“I am extremely enthusiastic about my opportunity to lead Mill Creek with new vision, purpose and dedication” Bonds said. “My vision for Mill Creek is to be a model of urban school excellence, working together with the students, families and community to create student leaders who will make a difference now and in years to come."
