Progression Within Middle School

All full-year courses count as one credit each when determining progression to the next grade level. The assignment of one credit for each full-year course reflects the importance of valuing and integrating all areas of standards-based learning. A middle school student must pass a minimum of two-thirds of courses taken. In addition, students must pass the courses in the content areas listed below as aligned with state assessments.
